"The continuation of 'sounds from the north' on Klang Elektronik. In Anders Bryngelsson's case this means in no way coldness or darkness -- no, it's more like getting tickled from the warming midnight sun. On side one Dryer remains true to a certain Basic Channel-sound. One's really waiting for Tikiman's voice to come in. But Mr. Bryngelsson pleases us with no sweet vocals, so why not do it yourself? Grab the mike and go! Not that we would call for a karaoke competition, but... Side 2 starts more powerful, the tempo is increasing, though 'Grop' is still in a tradition of dub-oriented music. It's in 'Fett Med Skillnad' that Anders is treading new paths."
"Anders Bryngelsson brings 4 tracks to the respected Klang imprint, opening with ‘Lovena’ a Maurizio influenced dubby groove that remains minimal but has tight beats that, despite being understated, make themselves known because they work so very well. Having an air of smoky clubs and dark recesses the noises build and mesh together to a single groove, the components running together perfectly, tight as you like. ‘Lasta’ keeps the dubby feel and the ace noises but steps the tempo up a little, and holds to the tried and tested 4/4 aesthetic, superb noises fit snugly to the beat, clothing it in a warm atmosphere that permeates the speakers and gets the head nodding, which is always a good sign in techno. The flip offers ‘Grop’, a slowly building tranced out Basic Channel number that rises and falls for almost half the track, adding the bass and sub noises and then the percussion before the forceful 4/4 drops in to cement the noises together and reinforce the groove Anders is feeling for the track, quite a different approach to this genre, and very well done. The last offering is a strange and beguiling addition, an acid bass opens the fray with sonar-esque noises repeating each bar and keeping the groove until the sub bass acid line comes in and we are back to 1990, a proper old school feel, and an ace change, Klang come correct once again."
