Dry mounting tissue, as it is often called, has many applications. Book binders have used it for many years to assemble accordion fold books. I know of other binders that have used it to assemble "Drum Leaf" bound books. I have not found many tutorials on how dry mount film or tissue is used in book binding. I hope to make more videos.
I purchased the items that I used in this video at Talas, an on line vendor for conservation and book binding supplies. Fusion 4000 is a dry mounting film and release paper can be purchased at other locations. A good art supplier in your town may have these items. Tacking irons are sold in many stores.
