Today we announce our free update to the Drumforge Classic Sampler, the Drumshotz update! Now you can load your favorite Drumshotz right inside the sampler, as well as any other external samples you may already own from other sources.
Update Instructions:
Please read and follow these steps below for the Drumforge Classic update otherwise you risk losing any user presets and maps that you have created.
*If you have created any user presets and maps start with step 1. If not, you can skip to step 5 and ignore the following steps after.
1) Locate the Presets folder which you can find located in your Drumforge-Classic folder.
2) Move any user created presets from the Presets folder to your desktop temporarily.
3) Locate the Maps folder which you can find located in your Drumforge-Classic folder.
4) Move any user created maps from the Maps folder to your desktop temporarily.
5) To update Drumforge Classic, simply run the Drumforge Updater application that can be located in your Drumforge-Classic folder. Select the option “update components”. This will update all necessary components for the update.
6) Once the update has been completed, move the user preset and map files back to their correct locations inside of the Drumforge-Classic folder.
7) Since we have made adjustments to our pitching algorithm you may notice that your user presets sound different if you had previously made pitch knob adjustments. Simply navigate to the edit page and config tab so that you can adjust the pitch of the drum back to your liking and re-save the preset.
8) This update will correct previous factory presets that featured any pitch knob adjustments in them.
9) All user map presets need to be loaded and re-saved to fix a previous bug.
Don't have the sampler yet? Now's a great time to grab it! Check it out at drumforge.com/products/drumforge-classic
