This interactive session invites music educators to experience a brain-based, inclusive approach to drumming that transforms classroom management, engagement, and student ownership through joyful music-making. Participants will explore foundational grooves, rhythmic games, simple conducting cues, and facilitation tools that support focus, collaboration, and creativity. Through hands-on activities, educators learn how to create safe, supportive environments where all students feel seen, heard, and successful. The session integrates neuroscience, movement, voice, drums, ukulele, Boomwhackers, and Orff instruments to demonstrate accessible “ways in” for all ages and abilities. Participants leave empowered with practical strategies for fostering collective music-making, student leadership, and authentic musical expression in any classroom or community setting.
