I wanted to thank all of you who helped vote for me in the Musicians Institute Full Ride competition. I was one of the 10 finalists that got to go to Hollywood to compete. I did not win, but this was absolutely the most amazing experience of my life. I met so many incredible people and experienced a hand full of new things. I got to practice and perform with a band of some of the best musicians in LA. I performed 2 songs and decided to upload this one because rocking out on stage is something you guys have never seen me do! It's my favorite hobby ;) Also, Drops Of Jupiter is HANDS DOWN the most exciting song to perform EVER! haha :)
Again, I wanted to thank you all for helping me get this far. There were over 600 entries and the judges narrowed it down to the top 50 votes and chose the 10 finalists from there. I still can't believe I was even a finalist! It was the most amazing 3 days of my life and I feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity. I LOVE YOU ALL! :)
Also congrats to the 3 winners of the contest: Tim, Jaime & Steve.
You guys deserve it! I am so glad I got to hang out and jam with you guys for those 3 days. Our spontaneous long walks around Hollywood, jamming in Guitar Center and late night hotel room jam sessions. I'll hopefully be seeing you guys at school next Fall :)
