During an IAEA Board of Governor’s meeting, the Director General described the drone hit on an IAEA vehicle in Ukraine on Tuesday 10th December as a direct attack. The IAEA vehicle was on its way to meet the Agency’s team that had been stationed at Ukraine’s Zaporizhahya nuclear power plant for the past month. The team is part of the Agency’s efforts to help ensure nuclear safety and security at the site during the ongoing conflict.
