Even Putin's most heavily guarded palace may no longer be untouchable.

On August 3, a drone crashed onto a crowded beach in the resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka—just 24 kilometers from the notorious billion-dollar estate known as "Putin's Palace" near Gelendzhik. Russian authorities reported 7 dead and 58 injured. While the estate itself was not hit, the incident shatters the perception that Russia's elite locations are immune to the war. As one Russian state TV commentator recently admitted: "There is nowhere to hide in Russia."
