Brief information on the basics of solar and charging your electric vehicle. I talk about three parts of the solar generation system including, the solar panels, inverters and the grid. Solar panels are not just on houses but they can also be used on cars, walkways and parking lots. Solar is a renewable energy and can be an option for your EV or PHEV to charge from. I give an example with a house that uses Tesla Solar (Solar City). In the end I talk a little bit about the Lighyear One an all electric solar car.
