After going to Disneyland the previous day, we checked out of our hotel at the Castle Inn & Suites, got breakfast at Mimi's Cafe, and then drove to Burbank. We attempted to visit the Walt Disney Studios, but were unable to on a weekend day, so continued driving back to Los Angeles to check into our hotel. After lunch from Jack in the Box, we then drove to take pictures outside of The Office building, and then parked on Hollywood Boulevard to look at Grauman's Chinese Theatre celebrity handprints (and conquer a mirror maze). We ended the day driving to the Griffith Park Observatory to look out at Los Angeles and learn about astronomy, and then got some local pizza before going back to the hotel for the evening.
