In this relaxing scenic drive, we take a route through the countryside toward Gatlinburg — a road that hubby Donny used to travel every single day on his way to work. These quiet Tennessee backroads hold a lot of memories for us, and today we’re sharing the journey with you.
Along the way you’ll see rolling hills, country homes, wooded roads, and the peaceful beauty that surrounds the Smoky Mountains as we make our way from the Pigeon Forge area toward Gatlinburg. It’s a slower pace than the busy parkway and a great reminder of how beautiful the simple drives through East Tennessee can be.
