Gravity hill or ghost hill?

It was said that some kids were on a field trip, bus broke down, kids were told to come down to push it. The bus rolled back and squashed the kids.

Legend has it that if you stop at mile marker 7.52 and put your car in neutral, the ghost of the kids will push your car back, making it roll back even though it looks like you're going downhill. Is it haunted, physics, or an illusion? I'm saying it's an illusion.
