This is an insane roadtrip! From LA to NorCal Redwoods, Oregon coast, Washington coast, Olympic peninsula, and Vancouver Island you get to see it all in one trip.
But most importantly I feel like I fell in love again (corny af wth). At home we’re…just at home. We’re in the same place but we’re not connected 24/7. During this roadtrip we had so many conversations from memories to future plans, every single day. Being able to remember the past and dream the future 24/7 with someone in a small place makes you 10x closer. It could also do the opposite if you can’t stand them for that long so do this at your own risk ⚠️.
It was more expensive and tiring than flying, but the experience isn’t the same. If you’re a city person, just fly because there’s not much you’d enjoy. But if you’re an outdoorsy person that gets amazed by views and likes to see them with your own eyes, do the drive! There’s a reason why Hwy 101 is the most scenic roadtrip in America (proof: trust me bro).
On top of that you can experience driving onto the ferry into Vancouver Island, explore that, and take another ferry into Vancouver for the city stuff like shopping, cafe and restaurant hopping. Gas definitely wasn’t cheap, especially in a 80 Series Land Cruiser, but I’d do it again! #roadtrip #toyotalandcruiser #tofino #vancouverisland
