After spending Christmas with Brennan's parents, I drove home to Pensacola to visit my parents after their trip to North Carolina to spend Christmas with Travis and Dennis! My parents drove from Atlanta to Pensacola, and I left from Orlando for the 7 hour drive (a little longer with traffic) and met them at PoFolks for dinner (after going to TBS Comics). The next day, I set up the ping pong table I bought 6 months prior, got some Whataburger for lunch (after going to another card store), learned about my mom's wine making process, and then drove together out to the beach to our Portofino beach condo to get dinner at Peg Leg Pete's. The next day we went to the beach, attempted to play pickleball, rode bikes, and watched the sunset and got dinner from Al Fresco to eat in the room and play games. The next day, we had breakfast at a former family-favorite Chinese restaurant turned brunch place, played ping pong back at the house and moved some furniture, and I left to get lunch at Dairy Queen and drive back home to Orlando.
