Lac-Beauport is a town in Quebec, Canada. It is home to the Lake Beauport, and the Relais Ski Centre.
About a 30 minute drive away is Quebec City. Quebec City is the capital city of the Canadian province of Quebec. Quebec City is known for its French Canadian culture, narrow cobblestone streets, French architecture, and breathtaking views of the St Lawrence River. The most historic part of Quebec City, Old Quebec/Vieux-Quebec, is surrounded by fortified city walls. Old Quebec is thus designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the early 1500’s, the region where Quebec currently stands was home to the indigenous village of Stadacona.
