Begins with departure from Fort Ross, all the way down S.R. 1 to San Francisco, totaling 94 miles of curvy roads in the dark. After a stop in San Francisco visiting Tom and Jerry's house at around 59:00, remainder of the trip is returning to San Jose. This video is a bit long, but I chose to combine all night driving footages. S.R. 1 transitions to highway at 52:00.
I do not recommend doing this at night since it's tiring and visibility is low. We're talking about 150+ miles of twisty roads if you start from Mendocino. Only reason why this was done are the few viewpoints along the way and avoid traffic, which was a mistake. The key is to start early and go up S.R. 1 during the morning/day and head down back to the Bay Area via U.S. 101 SB.
