Edmondson Park is one of the fastest growing suburbs in South West Sydney, New South Wales.
Located around 40 kilometres south-west of Sydney CBD.
Edmondson Park has transformed from open land and former military areas into a modern residential community filled with new homes, parks, shopping centres, and transport connections.
This suburb is popular with young families because of its modern streets, train station, schools, and convenient access to nearby suburbs like Liverpool, Leppington, and Campbelltown.
One of the most noticeable things about Edmondson Park is how new everything feels.
The suburb has experienced massive population growth over the last few years. In 2016, the population was just over 2,000 people, but by 2021 it had already grown to more than 12,000 residents.
The population may now be around 17,000+ residents in 2026 due to ongoing housing development and rapid growth in southwest Sydney.
Today, Edmondson Park is known as a master-planned community with modern houses, newly built apartment complexes, landscaped streets, and expanding infrastructure.
Many people move here because homes are newer and more affordable compared with suburbs closer to Sydney city.
