To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Driver: Parallel Lines, BD7 has released a brand new helicopter mod for the game! In this video, I showcase this new prototype created within the MOSS framework (Mod Oriented Scripting System), which brings new gameplay possibilities to DPL through Lua scripting.
As a long-time Driver: Parallel Lines player, this honestly feels like a dream come true. After years of wondering whether it would ever be possible to actually use a helicopter in DPL, we can finally fly around New York, explore the city from above, and even make the helicopter follow us beyond the usual street limitations of the original game.
