Truck driver exits the Express/Toll Lane by cutting across the toll's entrance lane for the main highway. They realized there were plastic barriers they were about to hit so cut hard right into the interstate's fast lane while simultaneously braking.
The result is me doing 70 mph and having to swerve hard out of the way of the truck which was doing around 30 mph. I nearly hit the Porsche which I had just slowly passed on my right.
Luckily the driver put their blinker on and I saw it, and was looking to get over to the right after passing the Porsche. I didn't realize at the time that they weren't even allowed to exit from where they were, and certainly didn't anticipate them cutting over while braking hard while I was looking to my right. Sheer luck that I knew I was past the Porsche before gut reacting by yanking the steering wheel and not over correcting, after looking back straight and seeing the truck in front of me by that point.
My mistake was swerving right, because if I would have hit the Porsche I would have been found at fault. The correct course of action would have been to brake as hard as possible and rear end the driver who cut across the interstate's entrance to the toll. Since the truck failed to yield they would have been found at fault, unless they lied to the officer or an idiot say they witnessed something they didn't. And then the dashcam would have saved me.
