After 10 years of my original walkthrough, we are revisiting Driver 1 with a playthrough of "PCfied Editon". This is a hack done by the channel Comando52Colton, which implements elements from the PC version of the game. We be playing all missions from undercover mode and see the differences.
The story circles around John Tanner, a former race driver who joined Miami PD to become a cop. He is entrusted by Lieutenant Mckenzie to go undercover and investigate the head of local crime named Rufus, and find out what he is up to. In this video we do the introduction and three missions. In the introduction, we need to impress a guy by showing some driving skills in a carpark, in order get a job. After impressing the guy, we get the job of getaway driver for robbers doing a bank heist. After that, the guy tells to deliver a "hot" car to the breakers garage. We end the video with a mission where the guy tells us to exchange a briefcase with cash for a key from a locker room. However, we are set up by the dealer, thus forcing us to chase him to Dodge Island to get the key.
One of the differences of PCfied Editon is uncensored dialog, which is something only omitted from american version of PS1. Also we can hear the police communication after a committed felony, resulting in patrol units look out for us.
