In this episode, Mike Brewer tries to get Driven signed to the record books as he fights for the land speed endurance record in the Volvo S60, organized by Volvo and Car magazine. Arguably, one of the more important episodes of Driven.
Also on the episode, Jason Plato gets an exclusive drive of the Subaru Impreza WRX, and the trio nominates their car of the series, which (unsurprisingly) was the Ford Mondeo. Top Gear also nominated the Mondeo, but as their Car of the Year for their annual awards programme.
