Welcome to another road trip through the eastern suburbs of Rochester, New York. Today's drive begins along New York Route 96 in Victor, a busy commercial corridor near Interstate 90 and Interstate 490, where shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels line both sides of the road.
Before long, we'll leave the commercial district behind and enter the quieter communities east of Rochester. Our route will take us through three towns—Perinton, Penfield, and Webster—each with its own character and history.
Along the way, we'll cross the historic Erie Canal near Fairport, travel through established residential neighborhoods and preserved green spaces, and eventually head north toward the shores of Lake Ontario.
Our destination is Webster Park, where this journey will conclude with views of one of North America's Great Lakes.
