Our drive in our 7.85m motor home to the highest inn in Britain, The Tan Hill Inn standing at 1732 feet above sea level, for New Years Eve 2024 / 2025 our drive takes in some awesome scenery but looks very bleak in the weather.
We turned off the A66 in the high winds on Monday 30th December 2024 and spent 2 nights parked across from the Tan Hill Inn in the rain and high winds but this place makes it all the worthwhile, we had to hold the camera as the weather was that bad the camera would have just got messed up and nothing would have been visible.
