Lomaz and Tanner are shown walking in a hallway talking about how the story with Carnot and The Bagman finishes. Lomaz tells Tanner that Carnot ended up dissapearing the next day. It was then South Beach figured that Vaugan was a cop. Ironically, a similar scenario is going on in the next room. Tanner enters to find Dubois hanging from a rope. Calita tells Tanner that he's the guy that's "going to get you killed." Dubois must have slipped information that Tanner is undercover. Calita tells Tanner that if he was a cop, he would not shoot Dubois right there in front of South Beach. Under pressure, Tanner takes his gun and attemps to kill Dubois to conceal his identity. Luckily, the clip wasn't loaded and Calita tells Tanner that Dubois will die tomorrow. Tanner is safe for now.
With South Beach second guessing that Tanner is undercover, Lomaz and Tanner are driving through Nice together. Lomaz says that tomorrow he will tell Tanner who placed an order for the rest of the cars. At this instant, Fabienne calls Lomaz and tells him that she has planted a bomb in his car and that it will explode if Tanner drives below 50 mph. Lomaz is not happy with this scenario. Lomaz wants Tanner to drive him to safety and then send the bomb right back to where it came from... to Fabienne.
