Welcome to the Drisky Recommends series, where I try to help pick out great or interesting games on a system. With each day showing a new recommendation and going through alphabetically. My hope is that it will help people when looking at their fully loaded emulation devices or going game hunting, some of the best games each system will offer.
This is for the original Gameboy and so the first game I recommend is Adventure Island released in 1992. Now technically this was Adventure Island 2, but either way, this is the Nintendo name for SEGA Wonderboy, and it's still the same joyous gameplay to enjoy. Its a great platformer and perfect for the handheld and starting our original Gameboy odyssey.
