You don’t need your cell phone to travel. In fact, when you don’t have it, you’re better at travelling. Instead of asking your phone for directions, ask a local. Instead of asking your phone where to eat, just use your nose. The answers are all around you…just trust the people around you and trust yourself. And isn’t that the best part of traveling? Talking with people? Experiencing new things?
By just being aware of my surroundings, I realized there are a ton of homeless people in Asheville NC. I didn’t set out today wanting to talk to homeless people, but that’s what presented itself to me. That’s what’s in Asheville…ugly truth.
