Our last day in Ireland! :(
We headed up from the Wicklow Mountains back to Dublin to visit the Guinness Storehouse. Since it was a Saturday we anticipated a crowd and went early. It's a good thing we did too because the line when we left ended up wrapping around the building with people waiting for HOURS just to get in! Even though we were early I really recommend not doing your visit on a weekend. There were so many people it was very difficult to enjoy the experience. It cost €20 for an adult and €18 for a student, but discovered we could've saved money by purchasing your tickets online in advance.
It was cool, however, to drink Guinness in Dublin and it actually does taste different here than in the U.S.!
We ate a Japanese lunch (since that cuisine is a bit more expensive in Edinburgh) and drove around Dublin before we had to return our rental car.
That night we saved some money and slept in the Dublin International Airport since our flight was early the next morning.
It's been great, Ireland! Thanks so much for having us!!
