Hey guys! Today's cover is of TXT's "Dreamer" β
TXT honestly has some of the prettiest songs ever, and reading the lyrics to them makes it even better γ γ I know that a lot of MOA (including myself) loooove the acoustic version of this song, so I wanted to make my cover more like that version in terms of vibes and chords.
I feel like the lyrics to this song perfectly describes my situation right now. For a while now, music felt like a far-reached dream that I have been chasing for a long time. It's like this shining star that I see right in front of my eyes but can't quite reach out and touch. Perhaps I've made it out to be something too valuable and serious that I was afraid to touch it with my own hands, resulting in me not creating anything at all.
I've been seeing and hearing more people wonder when I will be posting more often.. and unfortunately, I also wonder the same thing myself π I want to be more comfortable creating music just to create it, without setting any high expectations for myself that will take the fun out of it. "I found myself here tonight.. the star waiting to share its light." I will keep reminding myself that every cover I work on that does not see the light of day is a song that someone could have resonated with and found healing in. So I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who is still waiting for my videos and covers. I truly, truly appreciate your comments and continued support. Thank you! ^^
