I'm not a really big fan of Dream Theater, but I really love some of their songs, especially, their ballads are so touching.
Back to 2011, I was looking for instruments to cover one of their songs. I was browsing and I found this stunning piano performance on Youtube.
I recorded this song at once, and immediately asked him a permission to post it on Youtube.
However, he never answered my question and he kept asking me "what if we try original?"
At that time, I was insanely busy with my semester so I wasn't able to do any other stuff, time has passed and we become estranged to talk each other.
Nothing wrong between us, but I wasn't sure of posting this song without his permission. Nevertheless, I've found he posted our collaboration on his Facebook several month ago, so now I believe this posting won't hurt anybody.
Some of part is not the same with the original but since I don't have the project file anymore, I just hope it will not offend any DT fans :)
