Someone recently asked me what my dream is.
The answer hasn't really changed.
My dream is still community.
In this video, I share my thoughts on creating intentional communities, sustainable living, and why I believe meaningful development begins with people, purpose, and shared vision.
For years, I've been involved in pursuing large-scale development ideas and exploring what it might take to create spaces where people can live, grow, and thrive together.
But alongside those larger visions, I've found myself increasingly drawn to something more intimate and intentional.
A retreat.
A place where community is not something that happens after the fact, but something that is thoughtfully cultivated from the very beginning.
A place with sustainable homes, food production, shared learning, open space, and meaningful relationships.
Not because bigger is wrong.
Not because the larger vision has disappeared.
But because there is something powerful about creating a place where the people, the purpose, and the culture are aligned from day one.
The beautiful landscapes of Ghana's Volta Region continue to inspire that vision. The mountains, the greenery, the water, and the sense of possibility all remind me of what could be.
This is still very early.
More vision than reality.
More exploration than execution.
But every meaningful project starts as an idea long before it becomes a place.
Perhaps the greatest communities are not measured by their size.
Perhaps they are measured by the strength of the relationships they help create.
