This is the second solo of Troy Stetina's Heavy Metal Lead Guitar Volume 2.
I did a video of the first one (Mystic Places) almost a year ago, and said I wanted to master them all. I haven't forgotten about it, it's just that this demo is the hardest one for me. It's so unintuitive for me, as it's based a lot around pentatonic patterns (the style based on Randy Rhoads' playing), where I'm more at home with three-note-per-string shapes.
But I kept practicing it every now and then, and today I decided to just do the video, for better or worse :)
On to the next solo it is :)
For this video I used my Yamaha RGX Standard guitar with Steve Lukather EMG pickups, recorded through my Line6 Pod X3 Live.
