I am normally a positive person, but this hearing got me riled up. I had to quit watching the Tik Tok hearing because I thought I was going to have a stroke from the stupidity. My blood pressure went up knowing that our politicians have lost all common sense. The entire hearing was a dog and pony show. Total drama-based speeches are designed to make the politician look like they really care.
They would not let the CEO of Tik Tok (pawn) answer the outrageous negative accusations they hurled for several minutes before asking questions. It was total grandstanding by each politician.
In the end, I gathered that Tik Tok is owned by the Chinese Communist government and will probably be banned in the US. But, it was not fun listening to all the rhetoric just to get to the actual conclusion that Tik Tok may be a National Security risk.
