I cannot believe I actually got this finished (I mean I can...of COURSE the combo that broke my vidder's block would be some combination of TS and these two)...and in what was basically only two sittings. This is the first video in six months I've managed to get done that really feels like I made it just for the joy of making it (don't get me wrong, making birthday/christmas presents makes me happy, too...It's just this one wasn't about being swept up in 'oh this thing has just come out/ended I better get something made before the hype ends and people don't care). I mean, it does kind of show, it's a bit of a mess structurally, but I think I like it all the same...
Plus, the vast majority of my Poldark videos have been restored (let's hope that cycle doesn't repeat itself again...) so I figured it was time to celebrate that.
Anyway, I miss these precious beans so much. Can Poldark please be the next thing that gets rebooted? I mean, I'm happy to wait a couple more years but please get the cogs moving to adapt the last few books!

Yeah, Im back already. Sorry [though I did give fair warning that I had every intention of making up for lost time editing this particular fandom - also lets keep the fandom active, and talking about this show. Im not entirely sure if I really like this one, but Alaina was encouraging enough about the idea of it that I figured it was maybe worth finishing. But the middle and end just feel meh. So, eh, enjoy it? IDK.
Sidenote: maybe one day Charlotte stumbling on Sidney will work for a video I make of these two. Leaving that scene out always feels *wrong*.

This was supposed to be finished for DarkStarStudios #viddingdangerously project...Alas, I am a failure. Its here now, though, so thats something, I guess.

This ones for Vale. For her never ending enthusiasm for my OCs, for the fact that shes always willing to listen to me whine, for being supportive when I told her I chose this song (I had a crisis over whether or not I could bring myself to vid my OCs to something *so* cheesy pop...)
Speaking of this song; its SO Gahrik, my poor sweet boy. I torture him a lot (I also torture Mahrya, but well get to that in a second). This song truly summarises his feelings for Mahrya, and his absolute devotion to her (even in the face of his loyalty to the cause she stands against).
It may seem like Mahrya doesnt love Gahrik as much as he loves her, but she does. She really does. Shes just an emotionally unavailable baby caught between a rock and a hard place (in fact, Ill be exploring her POV of their relationship in another video I have started...).
One good thing to come out of this lockdown is I have ~most~ of the main body of their storyline worked out. So yay! Also, ship name for these two?? It used to be Marryk (when they were Mayree and Garryk), so Mahrik? Gahrya? Let me know!
