New strategy entirely that relies on the same seed as the TAS.
Compared to the original RTA strategy, this one requires 1 fewer shift but a bit more early-game precision. It also doubles the amount of leeway you have. I'm not sure if it will actually be easier or not, though. Give it a try!

You have a 4-5 frame window to enter the door with enough speed to not trigger the flag. You need a speed of 1426 or greater to skip it. 1292 is your normal running speed, and you can get up to 1700ish with glide boost. The problem is not enough headroom to build up the glide boost...")

This video is meant to demonstrate a possible path and time to complete Majuu Ou using only the Human form (uncorrupted) on Hard difficulty. The RTA timing is approximately 20:20.
This replay was completed with the assistance of save states, but was performed by hand at full speed and is meant to illustrate what a good Uncorrupted Hard run might look like. It is far from perfect - both better luck and execution could save an additional 30-60 seconds. This was only the work of one nights effort, after all. But it does demonstrate that the active Game Ventures Bounty (http://vent.rs/G6W0) is more than possible, and provides an example route to follow.
I wont be doing any attempts of this category for at least a while, if at all. But I wanted to offer my insights and route in case anybody else feels up to trying it out. Good luck!")
