It's plugged in all of the way, you can hear the connector click twice on the video. This is a bad design on the charging plug and receptacle on this tablet which makes it look like it's not plugged in all of the way. The receptacle terminals are broken inside of the tablet between the receptacle and PCB. Tabletexpress wanted $25 to fix it, and I would have to ship it to them. Not worth it for a $50 tablet. I found out I can also charge it somewhat slowly overnight via the micro USB port. Would not recommend this tablet due to the very susceptible to break charging port.
