Arguably the hardest boss in the game, unless you know he has a scripted attack pattern then you can beat him with not much issue.
Khalamari will always start the battle with Flame Breath so be sure to defend to reduce the damage.
Then he does the following, Single, Both, Single, Both, Single, then he defaults back to Flame Breath and the pattern repeats. Have both Hero and Yangus stacked with Herbs and use them if you both below 22 HP. You need a bit of RNG to get your turn in before Khalamari does, having an extra level to me would be beneficial. When you are full health, attack, use Helm Spitter to lower his defense. This is a long battle and remember that after the third Single attack, he'll use Flame Breath. You can if you are feeling bold have one character tensioned up to 50 while the other one is solely on healing.
