"Dragon Fist" is a martial arts movie from 1979 directed by Lo Wei and starring Jackie Chan that was recently released on Blu-ray from Shout Factory.

"Dragon Fist" is an early Jackie Chan movie which followed the classic story of avenging a fallen master. Jackie had some solid fight scenes, especially near the end, but nothing that really stood out. The best fight was probably the tonfa battle, though it was against a random guy instead of one of the main characters.

The movie felt like two stories put together—Jackie’s quest for revenge and a complicated plot with warring clans and Fat Xu stirring up trouble. Jackie played more of a passive hero, mostly reacting to what was happening around him.

Overall, "Dragon Fist" had some good action but wasn’t one of Jackie Chan's most exciting films.
