After all the chaos with the Ginyu Force, this episode makes one thing clear, Goku is not to be messed with. The tides have turned in this episode, and we have a little bit of hope. Using the Kaioken, Goku powers up for Ginyu, revealing a power level of 180,000.

Still, while Frieza doesn’t need to fight to dominate the screen, in this episode, he gets in on the action.

Dragon Ball Z Episode 56 does an incredible job of building hype, and the Goku Power Up scene makes it all worth it.
