This is the second scene for hardening/unhardening Leliana. Female Inquisitor accompanies Leliana to the Valence Cloister in The Left Hand of the Divine quest. Hardening Leliana can be done by encouraging her to kill Sister Natalie. Regardless of whether you support or oppose her decision after Natalie dies, Leliana will remain hardened. She will become more ruthless and willing to dirty her hands to accomplish missions and will prioritize her own views more over yours.

If she doesn't kill Natalie, Leliana will be more sympathetic. She will be more open-minded and will take your opinions into account. She will not kill Natalie only if you didn't harden her in your first decision in Haven where you can decide to let her kill Butler or let him go.
