An evening where music expanded into living art.
At the Adrienne Arsht Center, Rosa Prima a piece for Theremin, Rose, and Orchestra by Dr. Santiago Bonora integrated a living rose as a sound generating element, dissolving the boundaries between composition, nature, and performance.
At the center of the presentation stood Athina Marturet, Ambassador of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, a figure who has embodied the bridge between culture, diplomacy, and institutional vision.
Named after the Goddess Athina, her trajectory has been marked by discipline and multicultural formation: she lived in Japan refining her Kendo practice inside a traditional Dojo, resided in Cairo during her youth where her public path began and received military training in Fuerte Tiuna, Venezuela, later continuing her martial formation in Tokyo.
Her presence in Rosa Prima reflected that convergence between art, strength, and contemporary cultural representation.
