Dr Rob Wykes (PhD) from the Department of Clinical Experimental Epilepsy (Department of Neurology) at University College London (UCL) tells Scientifica about his research involving manipulating Ion channels in Neurons. Using Fluorescent tags to Patch Clamp the Neurons in the slice, Dr Wykes uses PatchVision and an affordable camera to identify the green cells.
