Quantum computers are a promising route to efficiently finding the ground state of molecules, which could aid in the discovery of new drugs and materials. But many of the really interesting molecules are too big to model on a single quantum processor. Dr. Grier Jones discuss his work spreading these calculations across multiple processors using distributed quantum computing.
