In this video, Dr. Petrovich discusses the differences in the genealogies in the Hebrew Masoretic text versus the Greek Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch, which have an extra hundred years on 6 generations, and increases the timeline by 650 years. This fixes timeline issues with the Egyptian Pyramids and the Tower of Babel. This is a topic that I discussed in a previous video that I made called "Were the Pyramids Built Before the Flood?"

Some people have insinuated that no serious historian would agree with the conclusion that I made in my video about the Pyramids and Noah's flood. So, I wanted to show that here we have Dr. Douglas Petrovich who actually does agree that the Hebrew Masoretic text is in error (in this particular instance) and that the Septuagint & Samaritan Bibles are probably more accurate. Dr. Petrovich has not only been interviewed by the team who made the excellent documentary "Is Genesis History" but also by the excellent video series called "Patterns of Evidence" in their 2nd movie called "The Moses Controversy."
Dr. Petrovich has also made a teaching series with Tim Mahoney and the Patterns of Evidence team, where he proposes the idea that Hebrew is the world's first alphabet. Click here to check out that teaching series:
