Cut story - KS. Valletta RAF plane taxies. Adenauer alights from plane, inspects Guard of Honour. Adenauer speaks in German regarding his visit here, says "Thank HM Govt. for his invitation here, also that there will be cordial agreement between us, etc., etc." Interpreter stands next to him. Gets into car, and drives away. ® Adenauer speaks in German and Interpreter explains in English.
STORYLINE:
Arriving at Northolt, Dr Adenauer was greeted by Mr Nutting (Parliamentary Under Secretary, Foreign Affairs). There was a guard of honour, formed by the RAF to be inspected before the West German Chancellor left for London.
