The theme is a twisted fairytale. I stuck close to the original story of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Esmeralda was not as the kind as she was in the movie. She was mean to Quasimodo because he disgusted by his appearance. She was in love with Pheobus, but he was no Prince Charming, he sees Esme as nothing more than a sex object.
