David Wilson co-founded the True/False doc festival in Columbia, Mo with Paul Sturtz in 2004 and in the 16 years since, it has become not only one of the most respected festivals, but one of the annual festivals where filmmakers have a great time presenting their films and seeing films over a long weekend in the college town. The 2020 festival wrapped just as COVID took over and for this year's festival, David and the team have come up with an event that will be one experience for people at home and something else for in-person outdoor audiences. Wilson discussed the plans and the state of the industry with David Poland.
