Max Richter is best known as a post-minimalist composer and performer, but now and again works composing scores for movies. His breakout was the documentary Waltzing With Bashir. He's beemn on a run lately with 5 scores in the last 18 months or so, for Hostiles, White Boy Rick, Mary Queen of Scots, last year's Foreign Language nominee Never Look Away, and now, Ad Astra. he stopped by to chat with David Poland about his life and work.
