Highly anticipated at the Venice Film Festival, "Comandante," directed by Edoardo De Angelis, had its world premiere as the opening film of the Venice Film Festival 2023 in the Main Competition section. Cinematographer Ferran Paredes Rubio ("The Good Mothers," "Indivisibili") chose to use the ALEXA Mini LF for the shooting. In an exclusive interview with ARRI, he discussed his work on these shots: "The choice of camera was very easy. The ALEXA Mini LF sensor was the ideal solution for all the mixed lights inside the submarine" [...] "One of the nicest compliments I received in Venice was that you could smell the smells of those people, that you could see that the people were real, there, and that is something I only find using the ALEXA Mini LF; it gives me realism."
