Planner Andres Duany and pioneering new urbanist developer Buff Chace discussed the Downcity Plan for Providence, Rhode Island, which won a Charter Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from CNU this year. The 1992 plan was featured in Peter Katz's iconic 1994 book The New Urbanism, it was updated in 2004, and it has been shaping downtown revitalization for three decades. Robert Steuteville was the moderator.
