Edit: Realized this is a SLIGHTLY old version of the song without the bit at the end for looping it. It's not a major difference so I think I'll just leave this one up.
This one went through a couple iterations before I arrived at this version. The opening organ chords was the common element between the two versions, and version one was a much different vibe that, frankly, sounded a bit shit the further into the song I got.
I decided to just start it over but keep the chords, look at a completely different structure and vibe, and this is what I came up with. The main thing that helped me with the second version was again (like Laminar Flotilla) focusing on the bassline first and foremost. Everything else kind of began to form around that.
I can't really explain why, but the organ and square wave instruments really make this sound "sewery" in my mind.
I kind of wish the song had a cleaner repeat, but it's whatever.
