2nd ever manual
New rhythm was discovered for this setup. This is based off of remliw's (chinese player) solution played by crbh (#1 endless player) on July 3rd but his solution wasn't perfect because it had crater issues and MJ issues so I improved the solution.
This solution uses double ice P6. P6 means that every wave is 6 seconds.
Double cherry or double doom is a lot easier to play FE 24 cob with because more explosives = easier when you can't pre-ice but double ice also works, although it's a lot more difficult and complicated.
Solution: P6-2i, PPSSDD | PPDDT | JPDc/PDD | PDcc/PDD | PPDDc | cANI | PPSSDDa | PPI' | PPSSDD | PPSSDD ( 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6+ )
Sequence explanation: pastebin.com/FCnRqCuv
Level 13 on the skill standard
The issue with remliw's solution is the cherry wave. It plays pdcc/AD (pd=precise dance) on w5 but there are two issues.
1. The D cob on the bottom half and the P cob on the top half have to be timed at the exact same time
2. The cherry is placed on row 5 which means the setup can't work for more than 2f due to craters.
However, this is easily fixable if you move the cherry to w6. This is a really simple fix and I'm not really sure how he didn't find it.
This is the third rhythm to be rigorously solved for this setup. The other two rhythms are S6 and double cherry P6, both of which are linked below in v1 and v2. Remliw has created the foundation for both the P6 rhythms and I have optimized and created the final solution for both of them too.
S6 uses 6 precise dances per 2f, double cherry P6 uses 15 precise dances per 2f, and this solution uses 9 precise dances per 2f so S6 is still considered the best in terms of precise dance (not a great measurement of difficulty).
Double Twin 24 Cob V1: youtu.be/CsrtU6kFLBo (Old S6)
Double Twin 24 Cob V2: youtu.be/0c0xUEsq9mM (P6-2A)
Double Twin 24 Cob V4: youtu.be/8HB29ogi35s (inter ch9, 12s ice waves)
Double Twin 24 Cob V5: youtu.be/xxlIjDP1hoQ (staggered ch9)
V5 is the best solution overall.
